The Lake District's must-do walk and one of the most popular walks in Britain.

 

Ascend the 3rd highest peak in England in true winter mountain style. Journey along Striding Edge whilst looking down at the frozen Red Tarn till you reach the summit and enjoy views over the northern Lakes; an absolute classic with some of the finest winter environments to be in. Descend via the easier Swirral Edge and return back to Glenridding.

 

This walk normally takes four and a half hours and is accessible for beginners with a good head for heights. Striding Edge is a graded scramble, however our guides can assist you and the more technical sections are avoidable.
