In the Ennerdale valley is the atmospheric crag of Pillar Rock, the most complicated Birkett. The Lake District most inaccessible and wild Crag. Rich in mountaineering history, Pillar can be attempted via Wasdale or Ennerdale.
We will travel through a wild environment to get to the bottom of the crag situated in true a true mountain environment. The climb of Pillar Rock will take in lofty heights on great grippy rock, stunning views and big atmosphere as we summit an impressive tower of volcanic rock that dominants the landscape.
This fun doesn’t stop there as we make our way off by a series of abseils into Jordan gap and below. Meaning this is a true mountain experience to rival them all.
