Accessible from either Wasdale or Borrowdale. Scafell Pike is the highest point in England and a fantastic mountain with views across the Lake District and Cumbria.

Explore the stunning winter environment and enter the world of snow and ice on this 6-10 mile day in the mountains.

 

The average time up and down is five and a half hours with some time away from well-defined paths. There is a small amount of difficulty on this route but is achievable for those with no experience. This can be a challenging day if the weather is in full force.
